AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND TITLE 14, OF THE JONESBORO MUNICIPAL CODE AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR A CHANGE IN ZONE DISTRICT BOUNDARIES

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
SECTION 1: That Title 14 of the Jonesboro Municipal Code known as the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas be amended by the change in zone district boundaries as follows:
From R-1, Single Family Medium Density to C-3 L.U.O., General Commercial District with limited use overlay for an ice skating arena, (8.00 acres), that land described as follows:
LEGAL DESCRIPTION:
Part of the Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 34, Township 14 North, Range 4 East, Craighead County, Arkansas, being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the Northeast Corner of the Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 34, Township 14 North, Range 4 East, Craighead County, Arkansas: thence South 00º00’29” East along the East Line of the Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of said, Section 34, 473.51 feet: thence South 89º33’34” West departing said East Line,781.63 feet: thence North 00º02’21” West 473.50 feet to a point on the North Line of the Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of said, Section 34: thence North 89º33’34”East along said North Line, 240.00 feet: thence South 00º26’26”East departing said North Line, 133.00 feet: thence North 89º33’34” East 163.00 feet: thence North 00º26’26” West 133.00 feet to a point on the North Line of the Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of said, Section 34: thence North 89º33’34” East along said North Line, 378.89 feet to the point of beginning.
