A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH RAMSONS, INC. FOR THE JONESBORO SHOOTING SPORTS COMPLEX PHASE 1C (2020:07)

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro has desires to enter into a contract for the Jonesboro Shooting Sports Complex Phase 1C construction; and,
WHEREAS, the low bidder and the firm selected for the Jonesboro Shooting Sports Complex Phase 1C project is Ramsons, Inc.; and,
WHEREAS, the negotiated contract price based on the deduction of the wetlands vegetation and the skeet/trap range shot curtain is $1,977,807.00; and,
WHEREAS, funding the execution of the contract shall come from the Capital Improvement budget and compensation shall be paid in accordance with the contract documents.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS;
Section 1: That the City of Jonesboro shall accept the negotiated contract amount and enter into a contract with Ramsons, Inc. for the Jonesboro Shooting Sports Complex Phase 1C construction.
Section 2: That funding for the execution of the contract shall come from the Capital Improvement budget and compensation shall be paid in accordance with contract documents.
Section 3: The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro to execute all documents necessary to effectuate this agreement.
