A RESOLUTION FOR THE PURPOSE OF CREATING THE POSITION OF THE ADVERTISING AND MARKETING REPRESENTATIVE FOR THE JONESBORO ECONOMICAL TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM

WHEREAS, It has been determined that the Jonesboro Economical Transportation System has a need for a full-time position to carry out the duties of advertising, marketing and public relations;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION ONE: The title of Advertising and Marketing Representative in the Transportation Department is added to the City of Jonesboro Pay Plan (Resolution No. 2004:02) in Grade 8 Step 1 - $22,208.99.
SECTION TWO: The 2007 annual budget for the City of Jonesboro will not be affected by the addition of the Advertising and Marketing Representative.
SECTION THREE: There are sufficient funds in the budget and no additional money will need to be appropriated.
