RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE PROVISIONS OF PROJECT NO 8-05-0033-01 WITH THE FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION (NOTE: THIS PROJECT WAS AMENDED BY RES-74:06 ON MARCH 18, 1974; RES-74:25 ON NOVEMBER 4, 1974)

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro has submitted a project application dated October 3, 1972, to the FFA requesting federal participation in the amount of $126,000 for improvement at the Jonesboro Municipal Airport; and
WHEREAS, the FAA has issued a grant offer dated January 19, 1973, which provides a commitment of federal funds in the amount of $126,000 for the aforementioned development; and
WHEREAS, it is determined to be in the interest of the City that the grant offer be accepted by the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO:
1. That the City Council does hereby accept the provisions of the grant offer for Project No. 8-05-0033-01, a copy of which grant offer is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference; and
2. That the Mayor and City of Jonesboro is hereby authorized and directed to execute the grant agreement for and on behalf of the City of Jonesboro.
