The City Planning Commission of Jonesboro, Arkansas, met in special session on August 5, 1955, at 7:30 P.M., in the Council Chamber of the City Hall.
MEMBERS PRESENT: Dean Elis, Charles Frierson, Al Hendrix, Mrs. Clifford Hill, Elmer Stuck, and Neal Thayer.
MEMBERS ABSENT: Jesse Banks, Minor Markle and Lloyd Rebsamen.
This meeting was called to conduct a public hearing on a proposed ordinance for subdivision regulations, legal notice having been properly published; the required time elapsed, all in accordance with law.
The Commission reviewed page by page the proposed draft of the ordinance for subdivision regulations and made some revisions, deletions and additions.
There being no objections offered from the floor at the hearing, it was moved by Al Hendrix, seconded by Dean Ellis, and carried unanimously that the ordinance as revised, a copy of which is attached and made a part of these minutes, be approved by the Commission and recommended to the City Council for its consideration.
