A RESOLUTION TO CONTRACT WITH CAVENAUGH AUTOMOTIVE GROUP FOR SPONSORSHIP OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO PARKS AND RECREATION YOUTH SOCCER PROGRAM

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro Parks and Recreation Department provides youth recreational soccer programs for the citizens of Jonesboro and the surrounding area; and
WHEREAS, Cavenaugh Automotive Group desires to provide sponsorship funding for youth soccer jerseys bearing the sponsor's name and/or logo; and
WHEREAS, Cavenaugh Automotive Group agrees to provide sponsorship funding in the total amount of Seven Thousand Two Hundred Dollars ($7,200.00) for the City of Jonesboro Parks and Recreation Youth Soccer Program, consisting of $3,600.00 for Fall Soccer and $3,600.00 for Spring Soccer; and
WHEREAS, the term of the sponsorship agreement is for one full soccer season, covering Fall and Spring, and ending May 31, 2027;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: The City of Jonesboro, Arkansas shall enter into a sponsorship agreement with Cavenaugh Automotive Group for the sponsorship of the City of Jonesboro Parks and Recreation Youth Soccer Program. A copy of said agreement is attached as "Exhibit A."
SECTION 2: Mayor Harold Copenhaver and City Clerk April Leggett are hereby authorized by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro to execute all documents necessary to effectuate the agreement.
