A RESOLUTION SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER THE PETITION TO VACATE AND ABANDON ALL UTILITY EASEMENTS LOCATED WITHIN THE VACATED PORTION OF BAKER STREET SOUTH OF HOPE AVENUE AND NORTH OF WASHINGTON AVENUE

WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the City Clerk for the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, on the 10th day of August, 2006, requesting that the Jonesboro City Council vacate and abandon the following easements: 

All utility easements located within the vacated portion of Baker Street South of Hope Avenue and North of Washington Avenue

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that:

SECTION 1: The hearing on said petition of St. Bernard’s Hospital, Inc. shall be held at the regular meeting of the Jonesboro, Arkansas, City Council at 6:20 p.m. on September 5, 2006, at 900 West Monroe Street, Jonesboro, Arkansas.

SECTION 2: The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing by publication once a week for two consecutive weeks in the Jonesboro Sun, a newspaper published and having a general circulation in the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas.
