AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 1995 OPERATING BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS, FOR THE ADDITION OF TWO PERSONNEL POSITIONS IN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT AND TO TRANSFER ALL APPROPRIATED FUNDS FOR THESE POSITIONS FROM THE JUSTICE COMPLEX EXPENSE TO THE POLICE DEPARTMENT BUDGET FOR SALARIES, HOLIDAY PAY, TAXES, AND GROUP INSURANCE.

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro, that:
SECTION 1: The 1995 operating budget for the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, be amended as follows:
The positions of Custodian, with a monthly base salary of $1071.20, and Maintenance Supervisor, with a monthly base salary of $1776.52, be transferred from the Justice Complex line item, to the Police Department budget.
That all funds appropriated for the operation of the Custodian and Maintenance Supervisor be transferred from the Justice Complex line item to the Police Department budget for salaries, holiday pay, taxes and group insurance in the combined amount of $25,580.00. for both positions.
SECTION 2: This ordinance shall take full force and effect on May 16, 1995.
