JANUARY 12, 1984
The Metropolitan Area Planning Commission met Thursday, January 12, 1984, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers, 314 West Washington, Jonesboro, AR to consider the following requests.
The meeting was called to order by the chairman, Mr. Roy Cooper.
MEMBERS PRESENT: Mr. Cooper, Mr. Ball, Mrs. Barber, Mr. White, Mr. Farmer, Mr. Vance, Mr. Blalock and Mr. Scott.
MEMBERS ABSENT: Mr. Tilton
OTHERS PRESENT: John Broadaway, Tim Ray, Betty Marlar, Curt Hodges, and representatives of certain items.
#1 Jay Gamblin and Superior Garment Rentals request a replat of Lot 1 and a part of Lot 2, Block A of Rose Stickler Addition to Jonesboro, Arkansas, into one lot. The general location of this property is North of East Highland Drive and Cain Street.
This item was tabled at the November 10, 1983, meeting. Jay Gamblin and Tommy Davis were present representing this item. Mr. Vance made a motion to approve the item with the stipulation that the owner of Lot 1 of this replat must retain ownership of this lot along with property northeast of Lot 1 which joins Nettleton Avenue until which time a public dedicated accepted street is constructed to serve Lot 1. It was also stipulated that a letter to the property owner be sent on this along with a copy of the minutes. The motion was seconded by Mr. Scott. All members present voting aye. MOTION APPROVED.
#2 Harvey Johnson requests a replat of Lots 48, 49, 50 and 51 of Block E, Belmont Addition, Jonesboro, Arkansas, into one lot, known as Lot 1, Block E, Belmont Addition, Jonesboro, Arkansas. The general location of this property is East of Madison Street and north of Rose Ave.
This item was withdrawn prior to the meeting.
