RESOLUTION TO REQUEST FREE ELECTRICIAL SERVICE FROM CITY WATER AND LIGHT FOR A NEW PAVILION AT CRAIGHEAD FOREST PARK

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS, THAT CITY WATER AND LIGHT PLANT OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS, BE REQUESTED BY THIS RESOLUTION TO PROVIDE ELECTRICAL SERVICE TO THE FOLLOWING LOCATION:
The City requests free installation and free electrical service to the new pavilion at Craighead Forest Park.
To permit such service to be provided without charge, the City of Jonesboro hereby affirms to City Water and Light that the ultimate use of the power so provided is not and shall remain a use or purpose which the City is engaged in as part of its governmental or proprietary functions under authority granted to it by state law.
