AN ORDINANCE TO REPEAL ORDINANCE #897, SECTION 1, SUBSECTION 1; THE SAME BEING A TRAFFIC CONTROL ORDINANCE AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:

Section 1: That Ordinance #897, Section 1, Subsection 1, is hereby repealed as follows:

Stop signs removed form Bridge Street at its intersection with Creath.

Section 2: It is found and declared by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that the above traffic control devices are no longer needed and to insure adequate traffic control, said traffic controls need to be removed, and therefore an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance being necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety, this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after its passage and approval.

PASSED and ADOPTED this 6^th day of October, 1980.
