RESOLUTION TO REQUEST FREE ELECTRICAL SERVICE FROM CITY WATER AND LIGHT FOR TWO FLASHING SCHOOL LIGHTS FOR THE INTERSECTION OF WASHINGTON AND PATRICK STREETS

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS, THAT CITY, WATER AND LIGHT PLANT OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS, BE REQUESTED BY THIS RESOLUTION TO PROVIDE ELECTRICAL SERVICE TO THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS:
Two (2) Flashing School Lights facing East and West at the crosswalk located at the intersection of Washington Street and Patrick Street.
To permit such service to be provided without charge, the City of Jonesboro hereby affirms to City, Water and Light that the ultimate use of the power so provided is now and shall remain a use or purpose which the City is engaged in as part of its governmental or proprietary functions under authority granted to it by state law.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 16th day of January, 1989.
