RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CLERK TO PURCHASE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 202 E. GORDON

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT:
1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to issue all documents necessary to effectuate the closing of a sale from Western Heights Lumber Company, Inc. for property located at 202 E. Gordon, Jonesboro, Arkansas, being described as follows, to-wit:
PROPERTY DESCRIPTION: Lots 3, 4, and 5 in Block 3 of Meyers Addition located in the NW 3 Quarter of the NE3 Quarter of Section 18 Township 14 North, Range 4 East.
2. That the Mayor and said City Clerk are hereby authorized to purchase said property for the sum of $20,000.00 to be paid from unappropriated sales tax.
3. This resolution shall take effect immediately.
