RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF JONESBORO,ARKANSAS TO ENTER INTO AGREEMENT WITH THE BLUE AND YOU FOUNDATION 2022 TO RECEIVE FIVE MINI GRANTS

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas has been awarded five mini grants from the Blue and You Foundation 2022 in the amount of $7,000; and

WHEREAS, funds will be utilized for the following: an automated external defibrillator at the Public Works Mechanic Shop, an automated external defibrillator at the JETS Admin Building, Tourniquet Bracket and Holders for the Police Department, AED and Stop the Bleed Kit for E911, AED and Stop the Bleed Kit for IT, Stop the Bleed kit and replacement supplies for Parks and Recreation for Sports Shooting Complex; and

WHEREAS, the mini grants are 100% funded with private funds and there is no cost to the City of Jonesboro.

NOW; Therefore, be it resolved by City Council of the City of Jonesboro that:

SECTION 1: The City of Jonesboro, Arkansas will enter into agreement with the Blue and You Foundation; and

SECTION 2: The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized by the City of Jonesboro City Council to execute all documents necessary to effectuate this agreement.
