RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE EMPLOYEE PAYROLL DEDUCTIONS FOR PROVIDING DONATIONS TO THE UNITED WAY

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas wishes to establish a voluntary employee payroll deduction policy for the purpose of providing donations to The United Way; and

 

WHEREAS, in accordance with Resolution No. 1982:07, as recorded in the Office of the City Clerk,  no other payroll deduction programs shall be permitted;

 

BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas that the policy for employee payroll deductions shall be only for:   City of Jonesboro sponsored programs, The United Way, and any payroll deductions that shall be required by law.

 

PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of September, 1995.
