AN ORDINANCE TO REPEAL SECTION 10-15 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS, THE SAME BEING A PROVISION PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY FOR NON-PAYMENT OF GARBAGE FEES

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas.
Section 1: That Section 10-15 of the Code of Ordinances, of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas is hereby specifically repealed.
Section 2: That non-payment of the garbage fee shall constitute a violation of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Code of Ordinance dealing with garbage and its collection and said violation shall come within the penalty provision contained in Section 1-8 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas.
Section 3: It is found and declared by the City Council that the penalty provision contained in Section 10-15 shall hereby be repealed and that the Ordinance being necessary for the preservation of the public peace health and safety an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this Ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage and approval.
