RESOLUTION BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO DEED 8+/- ACRES LOCATED BY THE JONESBORO MUNICIPAL AIRPORT, JONESBORO, ARKANSAS TO ARKANSAS STATE UNIVERSITY

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro desires to deed the airport property to Arkansas State University, Jonesboro, Arkansas
WHEREAS, said property being more particulary described as follows, to wit:
All of the North Half of the Northwest Quarter of Section 22, Township 14 North, Range 4 East, Jonesboro, Craighead County, Arkansas, lying North of the Right of Way of the Union Pacific Railroad, formerly known as St. Louis Southwestern Railroad, containing approximately 8 acres.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Concil for the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas that:
Section 1: The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute the documents necessary to complete this transaction and deed said property to Arkansas State University.
