RESOLUTION TO SELL CEMETERY LOT TO WAYNE WHITE

WHEREAS, during the year 1951, Wayne White, then serving as City Clerk, devoted considerable extra time and effort in arranging the City Cemetery records, working week-ends and at other times, and
WHEREAS, at that time the Cemetery Committee of the City Council approved the sale of Lot 8 and the W ½ of Lot 9 in Row H in Woodlawn Cemetery for the reduced price of $50.00 and the sale was never consummated due to certain circumstances;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE City Council that the Mayor and City Clerk be, and they are hereby directed to sell Lot 8 and the W ½ of Lot 9 in Row H of Woodlawn Cemetery to Wayne White, for the consideration of his extra services to the City, and the cash price of $50.00.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 2nd day of July, 1962.
