RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO SELL PROPERTY LOCATED AT 3508 FRIENDLY HOPE ROAD, JONESBORO, ARKANSAS.

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas desires to sell and did advertise the property at 3508 Friendly Hope Road for sell, AND

WHEREAS, Jon Moore desires to purchase property at 3508 Friendly Hope Road, owned by the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas being more particularly described as follows, to wit:

Lot 1A of the replat of Lot 1, Block C of McDaniel Subdivision Phase IV containing 22.756 square feet (.52 acre),

WHEREAS, the Public Works Committee of the City Council recommended approval of the sale on April 5, 2005.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas that:

SECTION 1.  The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute the documents necessary to complete this transaction and accept the purchase price of $10,000 due and payable at the time of closing by the buyer.  The City of Jonesboro shall furnish a Warranty Deed upon closing.
