A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING THE WILLINGNESS OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS TO UTILIZE FEDERAL-AID MONEYS

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro has applied for funding through the Arkansas Department of Human Services, 1998 Juvenile Accountability Incentive Block Grant Program, for working with Police and Juvenile Programs in the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, and
WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro is willing to provide the require 10% matching fund for the program, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF JONESBORO, THAT:
• The City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, is desirous of committing a cash match of $3,421.61 for the program and receive $30,794.50 from the State of Arkansas.
• The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute all agreements for the implementation of this program.
THIS RESOLUTION adopted this 1st day of February, 1999.
