AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 8.40 - SECTION 8.40.18 - PARKING TIME LIMITS; TO ADD UNDER SUB-SECTION (A) (5) -THE PARKING LOT LOCATED ADJACENT TO THE JUSTICE COMPLEX

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas to amend the Code of Ordinances of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:

SECTION 1: To amend Section 8.4.18 - Parking Time Limits-to add under sub-section (A) (5):

(A) There shall be a two (2) hour limit for parking vehicles on all city streets and on the following parking lots:

(1)                     The parking lot on Church Street.

(2)                     The parking lot on Main Street.

(3)                     The parking lot located on the corner of Church and Jefferson.

(4)                     The parking lot located behind City Hall.

(5)                     The parking lot located adjacent to the Justice Complex on Church Street.

SECTION 2: An emergency is declared to exist in order to preserve the public peace, health and safety and this Ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage and approval.

PASSED and ADOPTED this 5^th day of November, 1990.
