1. Call to order by Mayor at 6:30 p.m.
2. Roll Call by City Clerk.
3. Approval of minutes from regular meeting held February 18, 2002, as delivered.
4. City Attorney:
A. 1st Reading - Ordinance vacating and closing Lutterloh Street, Apportion of Hope Avenue and an alley located in Elder's Addition.
B. 1st Reading - Ordinance to rezone property from Residential (R-2) to Commercial (C-3), located at 1300 E. Matthews. (Jonesboro Real Estate Holdings)
C. 1st Reading - Ordinance to waive competitive bidding and authorize purchase of Motorola Radios and speaker/microphones for the Jonesboro Police Department.
D. 1st Reading - Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 3315 to include "Investment Advisors" in the definition of professional services.
5. Reappoint Mr. Ralph (Pop) Stricklin to City Water and Light Board (Ward 2) with an expiration date of January, 2005.
6. Set an appeal hearing regarding the Metropolitan Area Planning Commission recommendation to deny rezoning from Residential (R-1) to Commercial (C-3), located on the north side of Southwest Drive, East of Darr Hill Road. (Roy and Nell Bearden)
7. Review the following bid:
2002:01 - Sanitation Truck - Sanitation Department
8. New Business by the Mayor.
· Mr. Jerry Phillips request to address the Jonesboro City Council regarding an article in the American Family Association Journal featuring Mr. Burnis Posey.
· Presentation of the Champions of the City Stars winter league basketball program by Parks Director, Jason Wilkie.
9. New Business by the Council.
