AN ORDINANCE FOR THE HIRING OF A REPLACEMENT PARALEGAL FOR THE CITY ATTORNEY DEPARTMENT

WHEREAS, it is recommended by the Finance Committee, to ensure sufficient staffing in the City Attorney Department, that a replacement paralegal will be hired.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS, THAT:

1.  That a replacement paralegal be hired for the City Attorney Department, at Grade 110 and salary of $ 34,132.00

2.  For the operational continuity of the City Attorney’s Office in the City of Jonesboro it is hereby found and declared that an emergency exists and that this ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage and approval.
