Nominating & Rules Committee Minutes
Tuesday, March 6, 2007
6:00 p.m.
Members present were: Tim McCall, Chris Moore, Cecil Province and Ann Williams.
Resolution appointing Tim McCall and John Street to the City Water and Light Board: Councilman Moore motioned, seconded by Councilwoman Williams, to add the resolution to the Council agenda. All voted aye. Chairman McCall stated a letter will also be sent out to the boards and commissions to explain Ordinance No. 3663, which discusses Council members being placed on city boards and commissions. He added a copy of Ordinance No. 3663 will also be sent with the letters.
Resolution expressing appreciation to Senator Paul Bookout and Representative Chris Thyer for their help with receiving an extension from ADEQ concerning the landfill: Councilman Moore motioned, seconded by Councilwoman Williams, add the resolution to the Council agenda. All voted aye.
MINUTES
Councilman Moore motioned, seconded by Councilwoman Williams, to approve the minutes for the meetings on September 5, 2006; November 21, 2006; December 5, 2006; December 19, 2006; January 16, 2007; and February 6, 2007. All voted aye.
ADJOURNMENT
With no further business, Councilman Moore motioned, seconded by Councilwoman Williams, to adjourn. All voted aye.
