A RESOLUTION BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH BACON FARMER WORKMAN ENGINEERING & TESTING, INC. TO PROVIDE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES FOR HIGGINBOTTOM TRAIL

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro desires to enter into an agreement to provide professional services for the Higginbottom Trail project;
WHEREAS, the Selection Committee has determined that Bacon Farmer Workman Engineering & Testing, Inc.is the most qualified firm for the project;
WHEREAS, Bacon Farmer Workman Engineering & Testing, Inc. has agreed to provide professional services for the Higginbottom Trail project as described in the attached agreement; and,
WHEREAS, the funding for the execution of the agreement shall come from the Capital Improvement budget and compensation shall be paid in accordance with the agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS;
Section 1. That the City of Jonesboro shall enter into an agreement with Bacon Farmer Workman Engineering & Testing, Inc. to provide professional services for the Higginbottom Trail project.
Section 2. The funding for the execution of the agreement shall come from the Capital Improvement budget and compensation shall be paid in accordance with the agreement.
Section 3. The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro to execute all documents necessary to effectuate the agreement.
