A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH ASSOCIATED ENGINEERING AND TESTING LLC TO PROVIDE ENGINEERING SERVICES RELATED TO THE MASTER STREET PLAN (NOTE: THIS CONTRACT WAS AMENDED BY RES-08:232 ON DECEMBER 18, 2008)

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro has desires to enter into a contract to provide engineering services related to the Master Street Plan;
WHEREAS, Associated Engineering and Testing, LLC have submitted to the City of Jonesboro a proposed Lump Sum amount of $45,250.00 for services "1" through "13h". Services are detailed in the attached contract;
WHEREAS, the funding for the execution of the contract for engineering services related to the Master Street Plan shall come from 01-108-0217-00 and compensation shall be paid in accordance with the contract terms;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT:
SECTION 1: That the City of Jonesboro shall enter into a contract with Associated Engineering and Testing LLC to provide a master street plan for the Lump Sum amount of $45,250.00 for services "1" through "13h". Services are detailed in the attached contract;
SECTION 2: The funding for the execution of the contract for engineering services related to the Master Street Plan shall come for 01-108-0217-00 and be paid in accordance with the contract terms;
SECTION 3: The Mayor, Doug Formon, and the City Clerk, Donna K. Jackson, are hereby authorized by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro to execute all documents necessary to effectuate this agreement.
