RESOLUTION TO SET A PUBLIC HEARING TO ABANDON AN UNIMPROVED PORTION OF FERNWOOD DRIVE

WHEREAS, property owners have filed a petition with the City Clerk of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, requesting the un-improved portion of Fernwood Drive be vacated and abandoned: and
WHEREAS, the petition has been presented to the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, and,
WHEREAS, Arkansas Code Annotated 19-3814 requires two weeks public notice before the above streets can be vacated and abandoned; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that the City Clerk is directed to publish a notice once a week for two consecutive weeks advertising the public of the property owners request to vacate and abandon the un-improved portion of the above described street or alley, and that this matter be heard before the City Council on August 2, 1993, at 7:15 p.m. o'clock at City Hall in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
