The Metropolitan Area Planning Commission met on Thursday, December 12, 1968, at 7:30 P.M. in the City Hall.
MEMBERS PRESENT: Lane, Falls, Spurlock, Ulmer, Kenward, and Scott.
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Scott.
We first asked if there was any business to be presented to the Planning Commission from the Public.
Item #1. There was objection to a Wrecking Yard on Greensboro Road and Belt. The owners are Hardin and J.A. Lamberth. The Planning Commission is to check as to what jurisdiction they have on the property because it is outside of the City Limits. 40 Objectors signed a petition to restrict expansion of the wrecking yard. Petition enclosed.
Item #2. Ray Johnson’s 1st Addition: There was no public objection.
Item #3. Briarwood 2nd Addition: There was no public objection.
There being no further business, meeting adjourned.
