AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 954, THE ZONING ORDINANCE, TO REZONE FROM R-3 TO C-3, CERTAIN PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED IN THE 100 BLOCK OF WINN STREET, WEST OF CARAWAY ROAD.

WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the Metropolitan Area Planning Commission has heard all persons desiring to be heard regarding the proposed rezoning of property generally located in the 100 Block of Winn Street, west of Caraway Road, and has recommended to the City Council rezoning as described below.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
That Ordinance No. 954, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is hereby amended by the changes in zoning district classifications, from R-3 Residential to C-3 Commercial, for the following described property:
LEGAL DESCRIPTION:
Part of the Northeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 17, Township 14 North, Range 4 East, Craighead County, Arkansas. Begin at the Southeast Corner of the Northeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter Of Section 17, Township 14 North, Range 4 East, Craighead County, Arkansas; thence North, along the East Line of the Northeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 17, aforesaid 582.52 feet to the point of beginning proper; thence South 88º24'05" West 330.03 feet; thence South 252.05 feet; thence South 88º29'00" West 332.92 feet; thence North 0º43'45" East 263.69 feet; thence North 88º24'05" East 659.59 feet to the East Line of the Northeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 17 aforesaid; thence South, along said East Line, 12.00 feet to the point of beginning proper, containing 2.10 acres.
