AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CODE OF ORDINANCES AND ADD 66-158 TO PREVENT IMPEDING TRAFFIC IN THE CITY OF JONESBORO

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas desires to ensure that the citizens of the City of Jonesboro are safe in their travels and desires to improve the flow of traffic within the City, and
WHEREAS, Ordinance 66-158 is hereby added to the Code of Ordinances and shall be so codified.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT:
SECTION 1: That the language of Ordinance 66-158 shall read as follows: “No person shall operate any type of motorized vehicle or bicycle at such a slow speed as to impede the normal and reasonable movement of traffic except when reduced speed is necessary for safe operation or in compliance with the law.”
