RESOLUTION TO CONTRACT WITH THE UNIVERSITY OF ARKANSAS FOR PREPARATION OF MAPS, PLATS, SURVEYS AND PLANS

WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas has appeared before the City Council and presented its brief outline of plans and requested that the Council appropriate the amount of $1,700.00 for the purpose of securing the services of the University of Arkansas in the preparation of maps, plats, surveys and plans necessary.

THEREFORE, it is hereby resolved by the City council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas this 21^st day of February 1955 that the amount of $1,700.00 is hereby set aside and appropriated and contracted for the above purpose and the Mayor and City Clerk and hereby directed and authorized to enter into any contract or other instrument necessary to effect this purpose.
