AN ORDINANCE TO VACATE AND ABANDON A PUBLIC STREET OR ALLEY AS REQUESTED BY THE STALLINGS FAMILY

BE IT ORDAINED, by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that:
SECTION 1: The City of Jonesboro, Arkansas hereby releases, vacates and abandons all its rights together with the rights of the public generally, in and to the street or alley designated as follows:
LEGAL DESCRIPTION:
Begin at The Northeast Corner of Lot 3 Block A Stallings 5th Addition; thence N00°00'30"W - 175.05' to a point on a curve to the left; thence Northwesterly along said curve to the Left(R=25.00') - 39.53'to the South Right of Way Line of East Matthews Avenue; thence S89°38'36" E. Along said Right of Way Line - 110.04' to a point on a curve; thence Southwesterly along said Curve (R=25.00') - 39.32'; thence S00°00'24"E - 175.13'; thence N89°28'55"W - 60.00' to the point of beginning containing 0.28 acres more or less, subject to all rights of way and easements of record.
SECTION 2: A copy of the ordinance certified by the City Clerk shall be filed in the office of the Recorder of Craighead County, Arkansas, and shall be filed in the Deed Records of such office.
