PUBLIC HEARING - 6:20 P.M. - Requesting the abandonment of the unimproved portions of two (2) fifteen-foot utility easements in Raider Village, Jonesboro, Arkansas.

CITY COUNCIL AGENDA - March 3, 1997

1. Call to order by Mayor at 6:30 p.m.

2. Roll call by Clerk.

3. Approval of minutes from February 17, 1997, as provided.

· Request by Rev. Carl Henly for an extension on condemnation of property located at 301 and 305 S. Madison.

4. City Attorney:

(A) 3rd reading - Ordinance to annex 99.475 acres located on the north side of Macedonia Road, with a portion of the property being on the south side of Macedonia Road, all of it east of Highway 351. (David Cossey and Mike Young.) See M.A.P.C. Stipulations.

(B) 1st reading - Ordinance to rezone 4.13 acres from Residential (R-1) to Residential (R-2), located on the southeast corner of Aggie Road and Longhorn Drive. (Alpha Gamma Rho)

(C) 3rd reading - Ordinance to rezone property from Residential (R-1) to Commercial (C-5), located at 653 W. College. (Gerald Gasaway)

(D) 1st reading - Ordinance to amend Title Nine, known as “Streets and Sidewalks”, by amending curb and gutter requirements in the Street Improvement Program Standards Manual.

5. Resolution to set a public hearing for the purpose of vacating a 7 1/2 foot utility easement on the west property line running between Spring Hollow Drive. (Suzan Houston)

6. Resolution to proceed with condemnation action on property located at 511 Cate, and 925 Warner as recommended by the Code Enforcement Officer.
