A RESOLUTION TO THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH COBAR CONTRACTING, INC. FOR THE INDUSTRIAL PARK UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro has desires to accept the lowest total bid for Job 1 and Job 3 and enter into a contract for the Industrial Park Utility Improvements Project;
WHEREAS, the firm selected for the Industrial Park Utility Improvements Project - Job 1 and Job 3 is Cobar Contracting, Inc.;
WHEREAS, funding for the execution of the contract shall come from a combination of EDA, City of Jonesboro, and City Water and Light funds and compensation shall be paid in accordance with the contract documents.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT:
Section 1: That the City of Jonesboro shall accept the lowest total bid for Job 1 and Job 3 and enter into a contract with Cobar Contracting, Inc. for the Industrial Park Utility Improvements - Job 1 and Job 3.
Section 2. That funding for the execution of the contract shall come from a combination of EDA, City of Jonesboro, and City Water and Light funds and compensation shall be paid in accordance with the contract documents.
Section 3. The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro to execute all documents necessary to effectuate this agreement.
