RESOLUTION TO ISSUE BONDS FOR PURCHASING BUSES AND EQUIPMENT AND TO APPOINT COMMISSIONERS OF THE PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM

BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Jonesboro issue its bonds in the series of $10,000.00 to be secured by a pledge, mortgage, deed of trust or other evidence of indebtedness and for the purpose of purchasing the buses and equipment of the City Transit Co., and that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized, directed and empowered to execute said bonds, pledge, mortgage, deed of trust or other evidences of indebtedness.

FURTHER THAT Ernest Farabee, Stanley Cox, R. H. Wall, Herbert Goodman and the President of the Chamber of Commerce are hereby appointed as commissioners of the Public Transportation System.

PASSED and ADOPTED this 5^th day of July, 1955.
