RESOLUTION TO SET A PUBLIC HEARING TO ABANDON AN UNDEVELOPED STREET PLATTED AS AZALEA COVE IN AGGIE VILLAGE AS REQUESTED BY MIKE CAMERON

WHEREAS, Mike Cameron has filed a petition with the City Clerk of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, requesting that the City abandon an undeveloped street platted as Azalea Cove which is located in Block D of Aggie Village, and a portion of a cul-de-sac on Azalea Lane which is located in Block A of Aggie Village; and
WHEREAS, the petition has been presented to the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas; and
WHEREAS, Arkansas law requires notice of such public hearing.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that the City Clerk is directed to publish a notice advising the public of such request to vacate and abandon the above mentioned street and portion of cul-de-sac and that this matter will be heard before the City Council on April 7, 1997, at 6:10 o'clock p.m. at City Hall, Jonesboro, Arkansas.
