BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:

SECTION 1: That Ordinance No. 954 known as the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Jonesboro be amended as recommended by the Metropolitan Area Planning Commission by the change in zoning district boundaries as follows:

From Residential (R-1) to Commercial (C-3) of property described as follows:

The South 400 feet of Lot 2R of the Replat of lots 2 and 3 of the Fair Park Addition, Jonesboro, Arkansas, more particularly described as follows: From the Northwest Corner of the Northwest Quarter of said Section 28, Township 14 North, Range 4 East, thence South 60.00 feet to a point, thence N89º30' E 100.00 feet to a point on the Southerly Right Of Way of Arkansas Highway 18, continue thence N89º30' E 222.80 feet along said right of way to a point, thence N89º20' E 437.20feet along said Right Of Way to the Northwest Corner, Lot 3R of the Replat of lots 2 and 3 of the Fair Park Addition to the City of Jonesboro, then S00º00'00"W 350 feet along the West line of said lot 3R to the Northwest of the corner of Lot 2R of said Replat of Lots 2 and 3, continue thence S00º00'00" W 400 feet along the West Line of said Lot 2R to the point of beginning;

Thence N89º21'22" E 575.23 feet to a point on the East Line of said Lot 2R, thence S00º00'00" W 400 feet along the East Line of said Lot 2R to the Southeast Corner thereof, thence S89º21'21" W 573.23 feet along the South Line of said Lot 2R to the Southwest Corner thereof, thence N00º00'00" E 400 feet along the West Line of said Lot 2R to the point of beginning, containing 5.282 acres, more or less, subject to a utility easement five feet (5') in width along the West Side thereof.
