RESOLUTION FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO TO LEASE THE OLD FIRE STATION LOCATED ON MATTHEWS AND CARAWAY

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro has been approached by the Northeast Arkansans for Animals to rent the Old Fire Station on Matthews and Caraway Road for a term of 120 days for the spaying and neutering of animals.

WHEREAS, an agreement has been reached between the parties as to the terms and conditions.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT:

1.      That the City of Jonesboro is hereby authorized to rent the Old Fire Station on Matthews and Caraway Road for a term of 120 days to the Northeast Arkansas for Animals.

2.      That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute said agreement on behalf of the City of Jonesboro.

3.      This resolution shall take effect after its passage and approval.
