RESOLUTION SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING THE ABANDONMENT OF JOEL STREET IN THE TATE ADDITION

BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:

WHEREAS, a petition has been filed by Frank Snellgrove and Donald E. Gilbert praying that a thirty foot street, running East and West, platted as Joel Street, located in Tate Addition to the City of Jonesboro be abandoned and closed as follows:

All of Joel Street located in Tate Addition to the City of Jonesboro, subject to any existing easements for water, light and gas lines.

 Arkansas give notice by publication once a week for two weeks in some newspaper published in Craighead County advising the property owners affected that on the 6^th day of August, 1956, the Council will hear the petition and determine whether such property should be abandoned as a street and whether all butting property owners and other persons directly interested have consented to such abandonment.
