RESOLUTION TO SET A PUBLIC HEARING TO ABANDON A UTILITY EASEMENT IN THE TOWER PARK ESTATES, PHASE II, AS REQUESTED BY TODD JACKSON

WHEREAS, the property owners have filed a Petition with the City Clerk of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas requesting that the following utility easement be vacated and abandoned:
LEGAL DESCRIPTION:
The east ten feet (10') of Lot 36 and the west ten feet (10') of Lot 37 in Tower Park Estates, Phase Two, of Jonesboro Arkansas, as shown by plat recorded in Plat Cabinet B, Page 11 in the Office of the Circuit Clerk for the Western District of Craighead County in Jonesboro, Arkansas. A part of the SE, SW of Section 26, Township 14 North, Range 3 East; AND
WHEREAS, the Petition has been presented to the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas; AND
WHEREAS, Arkansas Code Annotated 14-301-110 requires two weeks public notice before the above easement can be vacated and abandoned;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas that the City Clerk is directed to publish a notice once a week for two consecutive weeks advising the public of the request by the property owners to vacate and abandon the utility easement mentioned above and this matter will be heard before the City Council on June 21, 1999 at 6:15 p.m. o'clock, in Council Chambers, located at 900 W. Monroe Street, Jonesboro, Arkansas.
