A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH FTN ASSOCIATES, LTD TO DEVELOP A LANDFILL GAS REMEDIATION PLAN FOR  THE CITY OF JONESBORO LANDFILL

WHEREAS, FTN Associates, LTD entered into a contact with the City of Jonesboro in July, 2005 to provide engineering services related to landfill gas remediation plan at the city's landfill; and

WHEREAS, the Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality on October 19, 2005 ask for the City of Jonesboro to Develop A Landfill Gas Remediation Plan and deliver it to them by December 5, 2005; and

WHEREAS, FTN Associates, LTD has agreed to provide such basic services at a cost of $3,400.  

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas that:

Section 1.  The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to enter into a contract with FTN Associates, LTD to Develop A Landfill Gas Remediation Plan.
