AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING A PORTION OF SECTION 16, TOWNSHIP 14, NORTH, RANGE 4 EAST, TO THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
It having been determined by the County Court of Craighead County, Arkansas, after due notice and according to the provisions of law, to enter an Order of Annexation on December 30, 1957, making:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter; thence East to the Northeast corner of the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter; thence North to the Southeast corner of the Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter; thence West to the Southeast corner of the West Half of the Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter; thence North to the Northeast corner of the West Half of the Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter; thence West to the Northwest corner of the Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter; thence South to the point of beginning, all of said lands lying and being situated in Section 16, Township 14 North, Range 4 East, a part of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, and it being found that said territory should be accepted into and made a part of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas;
IT IS, THEREFORE, ORDAINED that the above described lands are hereby accepted and made a part of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, annexed thereto, and the persons residing therein shall have and enjoy all the rights and privileges of the inhabitants within the original limits of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas.
