A RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT BID NUMBER 2007:47 AND APPROVING THE CONVERSION OF THE JETS FUEL DEPOT

WHEREAS, the company selected to refurbish and provide a fuel control system is American Petroleum Sales and Service

WHEREAS, this award has been made to the only bidder and apparent sole source provider presented to the Jonesboro Economical Transportation System through the City of Jonesboro’s bid procedure.

WHEREAS, $25,000.00 has been allocated in the 2008 FTA budget, grant number AR-90-X066-01 Line Item 11.44.04 for Fuel System Conversion.

WHEREAS, the Public Services Committee has reviewed and approves awarding the bid to American Petroleum Sales and Service.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS:

SECTION 1: The City of Jonesboro accepts the Bid #2007:47 for $23,534.00 for the conversion of and installation of a fuel control system.
