BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas.

Section 1.That Ordinance No.954, known as the Zoning ordinance of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, be amended as recommended by the Metropolitan Area Planning Commission by a change in the zoning classification as follows:

From Residential (R-1) to Commercial (C-3) of the following described property, located in Craighead County, Arkansas (East Nettleton - Donald Seay)
Lot 8 and Lot 9 of Cobb & Lee’s Survey of the Northwest Quarter, Southwest Quarter, Section 22, Township 14 North, Range 4 East, Craighead County, Arkansas, as recorded in Deed Record 48, Page 110-E in the office of the Circuit Court Clerk & Ex-officio Recorder, Craighead County, Jonesboro, Arkansas, and the following described property:
Begin at the Southwest corner of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 22, Township 14 North, Range, 4 East; thence run East along the South line of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 22, 88 feet to the point of beginning proper; thence run North and easterly along the North and westerly line of Lots 8 and 9 of Cobb and Lee’s Survey of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 22, and the projection thereof to the Southwesterly line of Lot 4 of said Survey; thence run Northwesterly along last mentioned line 25 feet; thence run Southwesterly along a line parallel to the North and Westerly line of said Lots 8 and 9 and the projection thereof to the South line of said Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quartet of said Section 22; thence run East to the point of beginning proper.
Section 2: It is found and declared by the City Council that the proper use of the tract of land described in this Ordinance is being delayed because of improper zoning, and that, therefore, an emergency is ...
