City of Jonesboro had a contract for purchase of the land with Delta Farms, Co for $760,000. Contract dated June 5, 1986. No deed on record for this purchase. Resolution 1986:29 authorized the Jonesboro Industrial Development Corporation to act as the purchasing agent for the City.
