RESOLUTION TO SET A PUBLIC HEARING TO MOVE A STREET LOCATION

WHEREAS, the property owner has filed a petition with the City Clerk of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas requesting that the street location be moved 45 feet to allow to remove one lot and expand remaining 6 lots to meet county health department requirements.
WHEREAS, the petition has been presented to the City Council of the city of Jonesboro, Arkansas; and
WHEREAS, Arkansas Statute Annotated 19-3814 requires two weeks public notice before the above alley can be vacated and abandoned;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that the City Clerk is directed to publish a notice once a week for two consecutive weeks advising the public of the request by the property owner to vacate the above easement and that this matter will be heard before the City Council at 7:15 on July 17, 1995, at City Hall, Jonesboro, Arkansas.
