RESOLUTION BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS, TO PLACE A MUNICIPAL LIEN ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1407 W. MATTHEWS, PARCEL 01-143242-16700, JONESBORO, ARKANSAS 72401, OWNED BY LUCILLE KIRKSEY

LEGAL DESCRIPTION: Lot Four (4) of W.F. Hollingsworth’s Addition to the City of Jonesboro.
WHEREAS, Lucille Kirksey, the owner of record, was properly notified of a code violation at 1407 W. Matthews, Jonesboro, AR 72401, and refused to remove or correct the conditions identified by the code enforcement officer of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas; and,
WHEREAS, the code enforcement officer corrected the code violation using city funds in the amount of $560.00; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro seeks to perfect a lien against the affected property to cover the cost of the work pursuant to A.C.A 14-15-903.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS, THAT:
1. The city should proceed with placing a lien on the property located at 1407 W. Matthews, Jonesboro, AR 72401.
