AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING PROPERTY DEDICATED TO THE CITY OF FOR STREET PURPOSES

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
Section 1: That Bruce Burrow and Judith Ann Burrow, his wife, have dedicated to the City of Jonesboro the following described property for use as a public street forever:
A part of Lot 3 of Cobb & Lee’s Survey of the Northwest Quarter of Section 21, Township 14 North, Range 4 East, more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the Northwest Corner of the Northwest Quarter the Northwest Quarter of said Section 21; thence South 464.5 feet, which is 109 feet South of the Northwest Corner of said Lot 3; thence South 89 Degrees 40 Minutes East 25.0 feet to the East right-of-way line of Caraway Road, the point of beginning proper; thence South 89 Degrees 40 Minutes East along the South right-of-way line of Matthews Avenue 537.2 feet, thence South 20 feet; thence North 89 Degrees 40 Minutes West 521.2 feet; the South parallel to the East right-of-way line of Caraway Road 191 feet; thence North 89 Degrees 40 Minutes West 16 feet to the East right-of-way line of Caraway Road; thence North along the East right-of-way line of Caraway Road 211 feet to the point of beginning.
Section 2: That, the above described property is hereby accepted by the City of Jonesboro.
Section 3: It is hereby found and declared by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that an emergency exists and this Ordinance being necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health & safety, it shall take effect from and after its passage and approval.
