CITY COUNCIL AGENDA - July 20, 1998

1. Call to order by Mayor at 6:30 p.m.

2. Roll call by Clerk

3. Approval of minutes from July 6, 1998, as provided.

4. City Attorney:

(A) 2^nd reading - Ordinance to rezone property from Residential (R-1) to Commercial (C-3), located on the east side of Stadium Blvd., south of Higginbottom Creek. (Debbie Cossitt)

(B) 1^st reading - Ordinance to vacate and abandon Broken Hill Road and Queensland Road located in the Outback Second Addition. (Jack Poling)

(C) 1^st reading - Ordinance to rezone property from Residential (R-1) to Residential (R-3), located south of Macedonia Road, east of Clubhouse Drive. (Sage Meadows)

(D) 1^st reading - Ordinance to rezone property from Residential (R-1) to Commercial (C-3), located north of Joe N. Martin Expressway and West of Southwest Drive. (Mike Hottel)

(E) 3^rd reading - Ordinance to repeal Section 8.44.14, Subsection (F) (2), and to add Subsection (A) to Section 8.40.14 to the Jonesboro Code of Ordinances for the purpose of creating fourteen rental parking spaces.

5. Resolution to proceed with condemnation action on several Jonesboro property locations.

6. Resolution to set a public hearing regarding the vacating and abandonment of two easements located in Block D and Block E of Dunwoody-Huntcliff states. (Skip Macon)
