Minutes for the City Council meeting on September 20, 1954

The City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, met in regular session on the above named date in the City Hall. There were present: Mayor, City Clerk, City Attorney and the following named Councilmen: Berry, Booker, Stricklin, Hall, Snow, Copeland, Rogers, Johnson and Taylor. Absent: Hendrix.
Mr. Booker made the motion, seconded by Mr. Rogers, that the Finance Committee and Sanitation Committee and the Mayor have a meeting concerning the garbage fees and occupation tax and have a report for the next regular meeting. Roll called. All aye.
Mr. Booker made the motion, seconded by Mr. Berry, that the bills as okayed by the Finance Committee be paid. Roll called. All voting aye.
Mr. Booker made the motion, seconded by Mr. Berry, that Council adjourns. All aye. Council adjourned.
